Team Colleen (p/b Summit Velo) Presents: Colleen Wheldon-Haught Memorial Time Trials “A Race Against Time” (formerly the Three Bears Time Trials) Sunday March 21 and Saturday April 17, 2010 USAC Permit Pending This out and back time trial will be held on Park Link Dr, between the I-10 Frontage Rd, and AZ-79 (same road as the Three Bears TT Series). The start/finish will be approx five miles east of I-10. EMT and porta-johns will be onsite there as well. Day-of-Registration will be held on site from 6:30 to 7:30 first rider off at 8:00am. Online and/or preregistration is TBD; check the website for details soon! Registration will be $20 per rider, $5 per junior rider and $30 per tandem pair. No payout, but ALL PROCEEDS will go to the LIVESTRONG foundation to benefit cancer research in hopes of finding a cure. Total distance for the course will be 30k for all categories. There will be race volunteers directing traffic at the start/finish, intersections and turnaround, but keep in mind that the course IS OPEN to traffic so be aware, and stay as far to the right as is safe and reasonable at all times. The Merckx Open category will be available for those who want to time trial in the old style: NO aero helmets, NO disc/deep rim wheels and NO skinsuits allowed in this category. CATEGORIES: Womens: 1/2, 3, 4, 35+,40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ and Merckx Open Mens: 1/2, 3, 4, 5, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and Merckx Open Juniors 10-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18, Male and Female Tandems (all) Directions to Park Link Dr: Take I-10 to either the Picacho exit and go south on the frontage road, or the Red Rock exit and go north. Park Link Dr is marked from both directions on the frontage road, and you can only turn east. Proceed to the staging area, and please only park on the north shoulder of Park Link Dr, west of the registration tables and porta-johns. Thank you.
